Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where will the camporee be held? The camporee will be held at Circle Ten's Camp Wisdom in Dallas, Tex.

2. What are the camporee dates?  April 20-22, 2012. 

3. How much is the camporee cost? Twenty dollars ($20) per person.  The fee includes all meals, camporee patch, and event cap.

4. What is the deadline for registration?  March 1, 2012.

5. May I pay my registration fees upon arrival at the camporee? NO. All fees, including extra dinner tickets must be paid in full 1 week prior to the start of the camporee.  NO MONIES OR FEES WILL BE ACCEPTED ON-SITE.

6. Do I need to cook for the camporee?  NO.  All meals will be provided. 
   
   
7. I am not camping but want to participate in the activities; how much does it cost? $20 per person. Includes meals, camporee patch, and event cap.
   
   
8. I want to attend the Saturday night dinner; how much does dinner only cost? $10 per person payable in advance. No monies accepted onsite.
   
   

9. What equipment should I bring? You should plan on bringing equipment for a weekend campout - tents, packs, sleeping bags, troop flag, lanterns, personal gear, etc.  No cooking gear is necessary.  All food will be will be provided.

12. May I bring my non-Scout son or daughter to the camporee?  No.  This event is for registered Scouts, registered volunteers, and Adult Leaders.

13. I am a volunteer or vendor helping with camporee setup, do I need to register with the Boy Scouts of America?  No.  You will be required to sign a release of liability form for this event.

14. I am a facilitator or instructor; do I need to register with the Boy Scouts of America?  No.  You will be required to sign a release of liability form for this event.

15. May I donate funds above or below the levels indicated in the sponsorship letter?  Yes - any amount is acceptable.
